There are many laws which protect the preserve. We encourage residents to understand how the law protects this preserve and their rights to its benefits. We expect our government and elected officials to honor the many laws on the record now which support preservation of this land and ecosystem.
In addition, the Friends of Edgewood Preserve supports enactment of a new law in NY State to even more clearly protect the preserve. The current bill in the NY State Assembly is: A09870.
